“Walk in the Woods” – Volunteer Tour Guide Opportunities

Sign up as a volunteer tour guide, helping Prince George elementary school students during BC National Forest Week (BCNFW) gain a positive experience with our forests.

From September 24th to 30th, the Cariboo Section of the Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF) and the Association of BC Forest Professional (ABCFP) are celebrating NFW.

Students and the general public can participate in a “Walk in the Woods” tour. This popular annual event have always been supported by gracious volunteer tour guides.

For 2017, we will need more volunteers.

How You Can Help

We will need a least 30 tour guides* for the school tours (6 guides per day; from September 25th to 29th).

An additional 8 to 10 volunteer guides* will also be needed for the public tour and the complimentary BBQ lunch on Saturday September 30th.
